Tried to base my idea on Rome after their Greek campaign, but later realised that roman culture was almost entirely replaced, so altered it to be mix of military nation with alcohol enthusiasts. Have no idea about the world, so tried to keep things vague about time period/magic/technology. Still not sure how to do this thing, but it could be changed if other people offer their ideas.
