To get beginners into the community by matching them with people in their skill level? I don't understand this. If you give these beginners their first experience getting double perfected and going 0-2 they're probably not going to want to play the game anymore. Ideally this should have been an introductory tourney with a game like Street Fighter 3 or KoF98 or something with a very low skill floor, it just seems strange to me
