I'd argue they should've debuted Luxiem before Ethyria, to give the fans of girls something to look forward to inbetween Luxiem and Noctyx. But also while you say the girls experienced "stagnated growth" during the Ethyria months they also experienced some of their highest superchat earnings to date, so things were just stabilizing if anything. Fans weren't unhappy like these days, it's just that the female vtuber audience peaked near the end of 2021 and there's nothing you can do about that.

Management has definitely been fucking up a lot, but the livers themselves have also been fucking up.

Management was definitely the worst offender in general, but the livers have done a horrible job of promoting and growing the branch and have had a lot of unforced errors. They just lack the tact or work ethic of Lazusydia. Luxiem DID have an explosive start, but their unwillingness to do as much work for their fans as the older waves is very visible to their fans, and they're slowly leaving as a result. Their anniversary was fucking embarrassing, none of them had anything prepared for their fans except Luca who did a half-assed vrchat world. The girls always talked about how much money they reinvest into their channels to give back to their fans, but Luxiem's fans got to see exactly how little their oshis think of them, not even giving enough of a shit to do a VtL cover.
