Well, there's also the type of people (like myself) who are simply uninterested in male collabs, yet aren't unicorns because we don't consider ourselves to be in a relationship with the streamer. That's more gachikoi territory in my eyes.
I mean, I won't deny that I have certain feelings for my oshi, but I know there's never going to be anything between us. The important part is not generating involuntary feelings of jealousy by having dudes on-stream.

IMO, it goes like this:
- Schizo larp unicorn: People who demand their oshi still be a virgin, having never talked with any male before, and is 100% committed to them/chat. (Possibly insane, false-flagging or just trolling.)
- Actual unicorn: People who consider themselves to be in a long-distance relationship with their oshi. Demands that they stay out of relationship for their tenure, and no male collabs.
- Gachikoi: People who have strong feelings for their oshi, and strongly dislike male collabs. Under no illusion that they're in a relationship.
- CGDCT enjoyer: People who harbor no strong feelings for their oshi, but still prefer no male collabs due to atmosphere reasons.

Ratios here are probably something like 5/15/40/40% respectively.
There are people between categories obviously. The point is that collab beggars tend to paint every one of them as the larp unicorns, when in reality they're a tiny minority by comparison to the rest of the collab dislikers. (It's sort of like saying all right-wingers are nazis, or all leftists communists.)

I think he's the former in which case yeah, based. Vtubers should be held to the standard of idols and forced to do shit like shave their heads as a dehumanizing punishment if they break these standards and virtues that their fans whose adoration and support is the entire reason they make as much as if not more than a doctor or whatever talking for being manchild babysitters, talking sweetly and playing videogames.

Vtubers for the extent of their career as such should behave as idols and give themselves entirely to their fanbase there is no room for men in their lives and they should be punished severely and only incentivized towards maintaining purity. At the very least an IMAGE of purity if nothing else. Adolf Hitler presented himself as the chaste hero of Germany for like 15 fucking years while seeing Eva Braun on the sly.
