So the last time I did a set at The Comedy Store, I uh, I stayed at this little hotel in West LA. It was, y'know, a pretty standard hotel.
When I checked in they said to me, they said "Just to let you know, uh, Mr MacDonald, we lock the front door here after 10pm. You can still get but you'll need to get clearance from our doorman." And they pointed to this guy. And this guy, the uh, the doorman, he was this guy with a real bent back. Real crooked posture, y'know? And he was Chinese.

I didn't say anything to him, I just left my bags in my room and went about my business. Went to The Comedy Store, did my routine.
When I was done it was about midnight or so. So I went back to my hotel. And as I was going back it starts raining. Man, y'know, rain in Hollywood? It happens, I guess.
I get to the hotel and the doorman is standing outside, all hunched over. So I says to the guy, I says, "Excuse me, can you open the door". He ignores me. And I'm thinking, y'know, he's Chinese but he must understand English if he works here. So I ask him again "Can you open the door for me?" Y'know? "It's raining".

Then I notice he's curled over, watching a video on his phone. And I'm standing there going "What the hell is so interesting on his phone that he's got us BOTH standing out here in the rain?". So I, uh, I look over his shoulder at what he's watching and he's watching this video of a cartoon cat lady with purple tentacles drawing art on the screen. He's got us both getting drenched because he's ogling cartoon cat girls!

Now I'm starting to get mad, so I put my hand over his phone and say again "Excuse me!".
He snaps up, well he's still leaning over, and says to me "Whaddaya want!"
I say "I want to come inside, Skew-Chan!"

So he says to me, he says "Oh yeah? Well so do I!"
