NTA but while you're right in that inpainting does help a lot, I just find rolling gacha fun. Also laziness hits from time to time so that really mercs my motivation to inpaint.

Yeah happens a lot, My gpu can't handle preview mode so I have to resort to keeping the pre hires image. Kills my storage but it's not really hard to prune em.
