oof, even my autistic ass didn't think that was a good idea. Only the Japanese still do the whole confession thing, and it's mainly because for whatever reason Japanese women don't think you're serious about a relationship unless you directly tell them you like them.

Then you'll be fine, if she still lived on her own or with her parents then she'd probably go to her girlfriends and they'd fill her with all the worst thoughts. The fact that she lives with you means she'll mostly just stew with these thoughts for a bit and then get over it because doing otherwise means she needs to find a new place to live.
