version that was born out of a lot of the twitch scene shitting all over the concept of vtubing as this weird eastern fad that will surely pass, so everyone had to get their virtual signal hit in and be suddenly concerned about "parasocial fans" and the "problematic idol culture", before it kept staying and becoming more popular, so obviously they started to get on the bandwagon to leech. Now they and their eternal twtichfag fans, who at all had their first contact with this concept with the twitch knockoff, desperately try to prove (especially with their fake award shows) that they are the real deal, even realer than the original, and also more free, innovative and original and holding the moral high ground, even though they keep aping what they see the eastern agency vtubers doing mixed with the generic twitchslop content they were already used to, now just with an anime avatar draped over.
