I haven't played much of Idol Showdown yet, just messed around in the training room to find someone I'd gel with. I play a lot of Type Lumina, though, and in that at least Saber's good but not that good. In TL she's more of a gatekeeper character, since her crouching jab is a frame slower than basically everyone else's (meaning you'll nearly always lose jabbing from block), and the fact that her normals have reach, means you can't just run up and hit her. Her glaring weakness is the lack of a meterless reversal, and needing to burn meter to make most of her blockstrings safe. That's counterbalanced by her building meter quicker than most, but I digress.

Point is, at lower levels, Saber thrashes Arcueid, but at higher levels a good Arcueid thrashes Saber, since you can just get in and she doesn't have many ways out.
How much of what I said applies to Ayame? Cause if she doesn't have the glaring weaknesses of shit like

You want Gura to start streaming again? Convince the chumbies to stop fiscally supporting a streamer that makes next to no content. Subscriber count isn't an excuse, either, all these girls have been basically set for life from just a few months of working at Cover, as evidenced by their complete lack of financial woes and monster PCs. So really they all have zero reason to stream, if they've already made more than enough money than they'll ever need.
