Unless you're a Holo is who is acting half the time you're on stream I don't understand people who put so much emphasis on vtubers "playing a character." All streamers are characters. They play up their opinions and mannerisms to entertain. Vtubers have the added element of kayfabe, but vtubers on Twitch and in Vshojo don't lean into it that much.
