At least one of them need to be able to attract totally new audiences, if they can't then they would only cannibalize the already existing fans from their senpais.
Counting subs now and in the next few weeks is useless, it would only show how much they take their fans from the already existing EN fans. And it would cost the whole EN branch in the future, just like how NijiEN is now losing to HoloID.
Praise should only be done for the one who can bring new fans from the outside like Kobo.
