After watching Bae's last stream of Yakuza 0 and seeing anon's reactions to her reaction, I think that the best way to enjoy this series if you are starting out is to start with Kiwami 1 & 2 first and then 0. Why I feel this is because I believe that part of the reason RGS made 0 was mainly for the Yakuza fans who have stuck around for the entire franchise by that point, the ones who played the original on the PS2 up until Yakuza 5 at least. The point of Majima having that opening was to have the old-time fans be dumbfounded as to how he became the Majima that they were used to, which is why it's dangerous to have new people be introduced to him that way because they are setting the standards high for how he's gonna be for the rest of the franchise. I hope Bae does continue to have fun with Kiwami though even if she was off-put by how Majima ended up being because it's only gonna be more jarring for her from this point on.
