This is all stuff I suppose goes on behind the scenes:

A lot of money moves around in events like these. The problem of self-producing is that while they can probably work out the venue, tickets, essential concert merch like penlights and the show itself... But it's incredibly difficult to set up the rest of commercial opportunities.
For bigger projects, involving more products than just "a show you can attend and enjoy", there's a lot of work involved that's far beyond what a manager or two can handle. Like if the event is getting streamed or recorded, a fixed camera streaming the thing from a random notebook won't suffice at all. So the costs shot up a lot because now you need a whole team to make the digital experience great (physical cameras to show the fans and digital in-render cameras, a whole sound engineering solution, maybe AR tech, maybe far more lightwork, a Director deciding what works and what doesn't, etc). The artists for sure has to figure out the setlist, which is no easy task for a bigger event because there's usually a new musical project tied to it that needs to get promoted.

The bigger the project the more money that moves around. That's why it's important to get experienced collaborators involved in the production, to make it bigger, better and mitigate risks. The bigger the project, the more names involved:

Tsunomaki Watame 1st Live “Watame Night Fever!! in Zepp Tokyo” Supported By Bushiroad
Presented By: COVER Corp. / hololive Production / hololive
Special Assistance: Bushiroad
Production Cooperation: LOGIC&MAGIC / HIGHWAY STAR, Inc. / LIVE FORWARD Co.,Ltd.

Hoshimachi Suisei 1st Solo Live “STELLAR into the GALAXY” Supported By Bushiroad
Presented By: COVER Corp. / hololive Production / hololive
Special Assistance: Bushiroad
Production Cooperation: Ray Corporation / LIVE FORWARD Co.,Ltd.

Hoshimachi Suisei 2nd Solo Live “Shout in Crisis”
Organizer: COVER Corporation, hololive production, hololive
In Collaboration with: TxD, Yuke’s Co. Ltd., Dynamo Pictures, Inc., LIVE FORWARD Co.,Ltd.
Special Sponsor: Bushiroad
Sponsor: みるハコbyJOYSOUND

hololive 5th Generation Live “Twinkle 4 You”
[Organizer]
COVER Corporation, hololive production, hololive
The Yomiuri Shimbun / LEGS COMPANY,LTD.
[In Collaboration with]
Activ8 Inc. / inLYNK / CREATIVEMAN PRODUCTIONS CO.,LTD.

Each event fases a different scenario. Like how Hololive EN concert had no apparent sponsor at first and Bushiroad joined after announcement. From then on, the concert name was prefixed with "supported by Bushiroad". Now Towa has announced her show and if you scroll around her event website (https://towa1stlive.hololivepro.com/)) you'll see she's not being sponsored by one of the usual collaborators yet. Maybe it's still under negotiations. It should be fine.

From here you can compare other shows: https://hololive.hololivepro.com/en/events-archive
Talents signed record deals with a music label don't have to worry about so many things, as they've graduated from self-producing.
