I never knew that having literal gigabytes of Mori pictures would be so useful...

Hmm you know I think having the shield in the hand makes a lot more sense. After all, you want your shield to be in front of you most of the time. In real combat, you do most of your attacks while also holding up your shield at the same time, to be protected from counter attacks, so having it in your hand would be a bit more easy for that. Plus, having it in your hand lets you have something like a tower shield offering more protection instead of the buckler. Your right hand weapon would be your main weapon, but your off-tail weapon could be used to exploit a feint executed by your main weapon, or catch your enemy where he's not expecting it, because he's focused on your hands.
I think probably, you would see multiple fighting styles arise, some with large shield held in the left hand + an off-tail light weapon, and others with the tail buckler!

terrifying... I love it.

For me, it's extremely long-term. The point is to maximize profits as much as possible, but this is only because I have much more liquid than the theoretical 'limit' of trading income.
If you're a newhag, your best bet is day-by-day, aiming for the best deal of the next day or two. If you have more money to spare, you can afford to hold coins for a couple of days and buy into dips.

>Are mutual funds fun? Are they a good addition to NASFAQ?
Yes. I think that they fill a niche which was previously left unfilled by coins alone.
>Do you think that either buying/selling shares should be changed or the way that funds trade?
Buying/selling shares is fine, together with the 1000x limit, but introduce stock splits/reverse stock splits so CEOs have some control over the price of the shares (and thus indirectly the inflow of money into the fund).
I do think that there should be some changes to how the funds trade: progressive tax with a higher ceiling and higher possible multicoin would also promote trading the smaller spikes (think not "3d concert", but rather "oh, a stream after 3 days). Additionally, I'd really welcome some way for the funds to be able to scale their trading income with their net worth. Not completely, of course, I do want for smaller funds to still have advantage to grow and for investors to be rewarded for investing early, but mutual funds function essentially like players - and that includes the fact that after a while, the trading profit will be just a tiny drop in the sea of their total net worth, making them much less viable, and making their intended worth (having someone capable supervise a large amount of money) not so feasible.
>What features would you want to see implemented as the mutual funds are developed?
There has been a lot of really good suggestions so far, and yes, the autotrader is completely necessary, I think it should be the highest priority.
Other than that, I think that there should be a lot more for the funds to distinguish themselves. Editing the description, all unicode icons, custom permissions to Board Members, being able to change the % that goes to the CEO/Board, and most importantly, putting that % on top of the price of the share so that its handled by the buyer rather than the fund (as it functions right now).
I'd also like for funds to be able to set things such as a certain % of the dividends being shared to the CEO/board, so there would be funds that have for example lesser buy-in price meaning that you would see returns from them more quickly, but at the cost of getting only 97% of what the dividends from that share could be, for example.
Oh, also, of course alter market's volatility. Make the adjustments more severe, but also decrease transactional volatility from funds much more.
