I talked about the "Gegenschein" of Pippa's content yesterday, and on the same day, she delivered a stream that could be perfectly summarized in that word. Those 4 hours of stream converged all the elements that make "The Pippa's experience" and conceptualized it into a stream that feels old in its novelty. This type of stream could be only appreciated by those whom she herself calls during her rant "the fanbase she cares about" all the rest of her audience, the hylics she caught during this last year, have no clue, and lack the interest to really understand the scope of Pippa's actions and the quasi-coercive and endearing pressures she put on her audience during these 4 hours.

Pippa, like always, is a bag of idiosyncrasies and inconsistencies only fueled by the snarky comments of chat and /here/ which she purposely chose to focus on despite their trivial nature in the grand scheme of things but that just makes her extremely coherent in her contradictions. This whole abrasive attitude could be summarized in the proverb "Do as I say, not as I do", or even better the Matthew 23:3 version of this quote "So practice and observe everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.", these two may look identical if you know nothing about their genesis, but to anyone familiar with the Bible the second one has an accusatory nature to it, and in relation to Pippa, a self-loathing one. I'm not still convinced by how I chose to put into words this peculiar behavior she always had, and as I already said this whole ordeal is not off-putting or infuriating, on the contrary, it's where the Moe aspect lies in Pippa. Wanting to reach new heights despite her shortcomings, that's a lofty attitude to have in her failures.

She doesn't want to give attention to the people speculating or attacking her but in doing so she is offering a perfect bared open flank for them. It is a hyper-specialization in masochism? I would like to think that's not the case, I think Pippa still values the opinion /here/ or her most zealot fans have, that whole rant about not responding even if she sometimes feels the need to clarify misunderstandings to her fans was non-other than a direct response and a service to those faithful fans, a nonresponse became a response for those who know about her. It's indeed important to keep your core fanbase happy and content, but doing good content and putting effort into your job would be enough for a lot of us, and she was doing that last week, the fact that she still felt the need to answer like that, that's the boon Pippa has, a subtlety that makes the incoherent coherent, turning a mere bunch of rocks into gold ingots.
