It's difficult for me to come to a 100% definitive conclusion on whether the harassment Pika got was the reason she graduated.
I'm leaning much more towards the answer is yes.

I just don't understand why we can't all get along and not have complete and utter assholes bully and harass one of the nicest and sweetest chuubas out there into cancelling her stream just because "jk rowling bad".

Why do vtubers in general generate incredible amounts of anger from some people. I don't mean people seething over a specific chuuba, I mean people throwing a fit over seemingly the concept itself, like a vtuber being posted in a porn thread or used as a reaction image on other boards.
