Unless you're moving a whole family's worth of stuff, most people would probably opt for renting the truck themselves and having friends help them move in because hiring movers in particular can reach scam levels of pricing, probably even worse with CAD pricing now.

It sounds like she's been dropping stuff off at the new place or least putting stuff piecemeal in a nearby storage unit while the previous tenants were getting their shit together to leave, so the actual "move" is probably more focused on stuff like the few pieces of furniture she probably has along with all of her streaming setup out of her mom's house into the new place.

When I swapped apartments a year or so ago, it took me the full day to transport all the stuff and get it into the new place, and then the actual unpacking of all the shit took a good day or 2, and when you throw other people into the mix, sometimes that process can either be sped up or slowed down. It'll probably take her longer since she has all her gear plus needs to do whatever she needs to do soundproof the place.

I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up taking a full week just because it's kind of a big milestone for her and to a certain extent, she probably appreciates having more control over this break compared to the previous instances.
