I don't know how much of a cunt you considered your mom before the diagnosis, but if she ever, at any point, gave even a remote shit about you, you should just forgive all that stuff and just try to enjoy spending time with her.
I never told mine about holo stuff, she considered herself a dinosaur and never even had an email. But I kinda regret not doing it. Not that she would have cared about whatever the hell an "oshi" was, but it would have been something to talk about instead of the impending end and awkward silences about the elephant in the room.
No matter what type of cancer, eventually things (starts with an L?) start building up in the brain and she starts forgetting things. So you don't always have till the very end to say whatever you need to say.
