I used to watch this indie vtuber and I was almost always the only viewer but she never greeted me. Then suddenly she stopped streaming and deleted her channel. A few days ago she debuted on Phase Connect and now has an average of 500 viewers per stream and turns out she was already working with them as a manager of one of their streamers... Now it make sense why she never made a big deal out of having 1 or 2 viewers on her stream.

Because no one wants to listen to a male voice while watching their preferred vtuber. Especially male vtubers always trying to make their voice deeper or to sound cool to appeal to women or flirting. I like watching Asmongold and Dr. Disrespect but watching male vtubers? That shit's gay as fuck.
