Kanata from Hololive took an extended break during which she posted some shorts of her older covers. Among the first was Wotaku's Snooze, it was alright, I checked the song itself, it was much better. I liked a song of his, I was likely to dig the rest. I tried covers first since that's how I got there, and would you look at that, Wotaku's got a playlist of favorite covers. There was Azusagawa, pretty suave. He was chosen by Wotaku to officially sing to one of his songs, Literacy, I love that one. Guess I'm a fan now
I first mentioned Kanata because I come from vtubing, but I sometimes go to the catalogue and thus made my way here serendipitously. At the time you guys were live posting to CIEL's Strawberry Live 2. "Donut Hole? I've liked that song since forever, let's check it out," and so I did. I liked it, might as well listen to the whole album while I can, after all, it'll be gone in some days. Loved it. The album's out already, I now own it
I kept lurking, I saw neffystare, pretty funny. Looked into it, discovered VALIS. There's 6 girls with distinct personalities (max coverage), they've all got dedicated songs that match their purported personalities, and there's even a behind the scenes subchannel for superfans. Turns out the girls are pretty charming! I like plenty of their songs and, because of temperament, found myself naturally drawn to RARA. I even like the music that's assigned to her. Currently, I'm working my way through their concerts
Look at the picture. Seems like a disparate group, so it seemed to me at least, but I now know they're all under Kamitsubaki, and "somehow," I've come to be a fan of all three, on their own merits. Every dime I send to any of them goes to the very same company
