I've found that the reason I like Lia so much is in part because I only care about 5-10% of what she talks about, if that. That sounds like I'm belittling her interests, but it's not like I think things I'm interested in are inherently superior. I've found that I'm a very opinionated person and when a streamer I would otherwise like opines in a way that I disagree with, it runs a serious risk of myself having a spergout, which results in needless conflict with my oshi. With Lia as my oshi, there is extremely little risk of that, which makes it easier to appreciate her passion and listen to and be entertained by her without having a spergout.

I think the fact that her interests don't align with my own is the secret sauce that makes Lia so likable. Is anyone else in the same boat?
