I feel from a content creation perspective Niji would be a better choice, but the way the branch has developed past the 2nd gen Obsydia really has killed the bit of delusional incentive to ever try for them, especially regarding the setup of the male side. From a business perspective I would feel more comfortable with Stars EN, but they probably would get their shit more regulated and dealing with their "both part of the same company, but actually independant in their own rights with noticeable barriers" shit sounds annoying at least, if not tiring.


Niji EN:
>More freedom in content creation
>More freedom in chosing collab partners
>More(?) permissions for games
>Personally not too fond of the culture they have developed within the branch, tons of collabs, not too fond of their humor for the most part
>The amount of people the branch has now is also somewhat intimidating for an introvert like me, mostly because cross gen interactions are much more encouraged, unironically enforcing a stronger "we are family" vibe than any holo branch ever had
>Feels like once you're out in the wild streaming, you are more likely to be on your own, less support from the company
>Absolutely not fond of how they have been developing the male side of NijiEN with the amount of blatant pandering, also not fond of their male designs

Stars EN:
>Much more restrictive with content
>Not as much freedom with collab partners
>Although it's possibly not a prevalent within an EN branch, there's still this lingering awkwardness around Hololive, you can't treat them like any other normal chuuba colleagues, but still have to honor them and hold them in high regards publicly
>Overall have a better feeling about cover how they organize things than with Anycolor (yeah, I know starts were treated like shit)
>Likely to receive more support from the organization
