the problem is that vtubing in itself is already a voice acting gig, so it takes out a ton of immersion if character A is voiced by character, franchise B.
You'd never write "Gintoki in our new franchise 'Gintama' will be voiced by Kyon from the Haruhi Franchise", one would always go with Tomokazu Sugita.
Chuubas with their voices already established make it even worse. Kanata and Polka would do the best jobs here because they're wildcards with tons of range. Noel surprised everyone because she usually burrikkos higher.
Then again, this is all comparing to Japan standards. I would immediately check out stuff voiced by Kronii for instance because she's such a stand-out compared to the rest of the pityful bunch which is EN voice actors. most of dubs are actually shit due to script writing, but that's a linguistic rant I'll spare you.
