For me maybe it's just because I had a relationship that ended kind of shitty and I'm cynical, but I'm honestly very happy with just GFE or chuubas that tow that line currently

These >>52900270 >>52897996 posts kind of get at my feelings. Really I just don't find the juice worth the squeeze anymore. Listening to my chuuba just talk about her day and other personal life stories while being affectionate and I get to chat with her fulfills the same emotional needs for me without having to deal with some of the negatives like having a constant presence in your life that you NEED to give your undivided attention to, or that you HAVE to prioritize above everything else or else they get upset and then you have to work to put out the fire.

I obviously don't think I'm really in a relationship with her, and of course it's not the same thing as being in a relationship, it's its own thing. You don't get the physical intimacy, but like I said, that doesn't mean you cant get your emotional needs through it. And in that sense, getting to have that emotional closeness and personal investment without the more demanding and frankly shitty parts of relationships makes it more worthwhile for me, at least at this point in my life.
