Pretty much everyone on twitch has grown from a year ago. Yes no one is getting massive numbers but we're talking about watch hours here. If a lot of the 100 CCV andies inclined to 500 CCV that would lead to a significant boost to watch hours even though it would never be on this threads radar

For example, I know she's not American but Shondo went from 3 view in 2023 to consistent 4 view in 2024 and was doubling her January 2023 average by the time of her hiatus. This is a trend that is going on across all of twitch. Everyone is inclining and while the numbers themselves are still low, the watch hours are increasing.
It's part of why this metric is such a meme
