Holy shit this is actually disgusting and very unfortunate.
Pulling off lawsuit threats is scummy shit and doing it this way just makes Sakana a legit no fun allowed turd.
Pippa was trying to grow a little and have some fun interactions with other creators and even evolving vtubing as a whole in a different direction from the usual, creating some very entertaining content.
And Sakana is pulling out lawyers to shut down anyone who was interacting with her on any capacity, even this indirect fanbase interaction.
It's not just telling her to stop but actually suing others, wow.
So I guess he just wants her to stay on the standard vtuber lane, no fun allowed only standard vtuber fun, just talk to other non controversial vtubers, do karaoke and play games, as if that was gonna lead anyone to any success in the industry anymore.
Some of Pippa's best moments came from her interaction with people outside the vtuber world, mutual mentions, callouts, etc.
She's still Pippa so I'll still watch her but her potential is severely handicapped if she's stuck just doing vtuber shit.
