I don't know if it's the translator's fault but god her choice of words is atrocious. Unicorns are still a little minority it's not a growing trend or the standard, the fact that she is trying to do this "call to arms" against "weebs"(again wrong term but whatever) it's even more confusing. Is she against unicorns? Or against the corps that enable this behavior? I don't understand it's a rant full of buzzwords without any substance. I can get behind the message "don't go too crazy wasting your life and your savings over a png" or "don't try to dictate too much the work of other people" but I think that's a given and not even unicorns or gachikoi want this. She said herself the thing earnest unicorns and gachi want "if someone is serious about vtubing, they'd be putting all their time and effort into it", that's it, as a vtuber, an idol you should be a symbol, someone to look at up to. If I want to get relaxed I can always watch Watame, I want to watch her grow and support her, watch her in the spotlight despite all the suffering she overcame throughout her life. I don't want her to start doing 3d whoring for a fake sense of freedom. It's fine if some people chose to do the latter, and threaten or insult them on their spaces it's of course wrong. But don't expect my support or my blind respect, I tolerate you nothing more nothing less.
