It's kinda funny how Fauna and by association saplings are considered the most gentle and harmless group of people in HoloEN, yet you can't even handle a bit of friendly (and entirely legitimate) banter.
It would have been one thing if saplings were just talking out of their ass, pretending like like Fauna did all the work, but in this case she really did. It's just poking fun at that fact, and is all in good humor.

You don't know Fauna at all if you'd think she would scold saplings for this. At most she will clarify that she had fun, and that she thought everyone did their best. There will be no holier-than-thou attitude, that's not her style.
