Mate, Anycolor was never not significant larger than COVER in any business metric: market cap, revenue, profit, you name it.
They used to be double the size of COVER, triple the size of COVER and should, by all accounts, remain so on size of inventory alone.

The day COVER catches up to Anycolor in ANY meaningful financial metric, that would be an earth shattering moment and the end of an era, similar to if Tesla EVER gets to the size of GM or Toyota.
It won't happen anytime soon tho because if it does, one of these things happened
1) Anycolor died
2) COVER got bought by that bloke from the Wall Street movie, all of their girls were sold into sexual slavery, all of the boys into regular slavery (also sexual) and all of the companies assets were sold in search of a short term revenue and profit boost

>In a discussion on who (...) makes more money
That discussion never existed. Anycolor always made more money, since ever and never didn't make more money.
Actually, Anycolor used to make DOUBLE the money Cover made even in 2020 with the massive year that company had.
The fact COVER is even close to Anycolor with a fourth of their inventory is something out of this world but, again, that was never in discussion.

>and who has the most mindshare
Nah, COVER has Anycolor beat on that matter forever and a day now. Even in Japan.

>yes im saying this based on the most recent quarter.
You realize one quarter is three months, right? And that not every company has their strongest quarter in the same quarter?

With that said, Anycolor has never ever Ever EVER had even a single quarter with a lower sales revenue than COVER.
They can't and shouldn't. they have a much bigger "inventory" of products than their competitor
>115 streamer channels in their JP branch alone with at least one stream in 2023 (discounting the merged in ID and KR) versus 75 from ALL branches and agencies under COVER

They never ever had a lower sales revenue than Hololive but the fact the gap dropped that much points out to a future when even in that metric they might end up getting outranked, which would be absolutely preposterous

Here is their evolution since 2020 tho,

Look at how much ground Cover took from Anycolor with regards to their revenue, even without significantly increasing the number of streamers between 2020 and 2022

Cover sales revenue: 1,479,100 -> 5,811,250 -> 13,663,728
Anycolor sales revenue: 3,479,000 - > 7,636,041 -> 14,164,140

Anycolor sales revenue went from being more than double of Cover two years ago to almost the same.

Cover went from a revenue less than half of that of Anycolor to essentially the same size!
