Pic related are the top talents from the smaller corporations. They all have anywhere from 200 - 500 viewers.
Some of them, like Miori and Pippa, are inclining rapidly. They get 400+ viewers regularly. Miori has 520 right now as I'm posting.

But they aren't quite up to the Nijisanji level yet. The lowest viewed Nijisanji girl is Reimu, who gets like 800 viewers on average. To match people like Rosemi they'll need over 1200.

The top English vtuber at each of the small corporations. And the top Indie on youtube (that I know about).

All of them have over 200-500 viewers.
They're all super entertaining, and are achieving success without major corporate backing.

They're growing pretty fast. Within a few months, they might start passing the least-viewed NijiEN's.
