It wasn't just an apology to shondo, retard.
It also doubled as an apology to the loli crowd who she was also shitting on.

It had to be public, in fact, if it wasn't public I wouldn't be satisified. I'd be happy that Shondo got her apology, but I'd still have not liked Camila. She did the right thing though, fortunately.
