Yes, I did some reading on cave-diving and I think both ventilation and cooling are pretty important if you want to live deep underground! When I look into how people did that in pre-modern times I think the water- and wind-based methods both fits the natural environment of the caves and has a nice aesthetics so I blend them together for the architecture! Just ignore the fact that high humidity in caves also make these systems less effective
I think I might let my chuuni self out more this time around so aesthetics are important, though I don’t think the natural ambient sounds can be a full melody due to how they’re generated. I might toy with the idea of the first /vnug/ people (I should find a better name for them too) thinking it’s the noises of ghosts and demons living in the dark too
Invisible Cities is a nice read especially if you like atmospheric/esoteric scenery! I got into it when I was writing about space /vnug/ and it’s a big inspiration for me! That’s why the planets are named after the cities in the book It’s a pretty short read and I think I saw some Chinese sites uploading the whole text before

Glad to hear you like it! I figured you would be interested in magical stuff as well

Necessity is the mother of invention after all, although I also try to include more nuance in it. For one, Mujigae’s probably more advanced/developed/powerful than /vnug/ at the time, and their technology and magic (once this is worked out) would help /vnug/’s own development as well. A more direct consequence of the invasion was that magic was for the first time seen as tools of war, which led to its own advancement although in a skewed direction compared with the more peaceful uses by the bard-magicians of the old. It also ended up making some of them (like Borasmor) incredibly influential since it married the old tradition of magical leaders and military leadership into one. That’s actually one of the reasons I allured to her being an uncrowned queen in the writing although I won’t spoil more of my plans for now

Feels like a slow day for me so I wrote some more random lore for /vnug/ animal even if it doesn’t really relate to the thread or lore much at least that’s what I was going to say before Liora suddenly drops a guerrilla stream
