one of them is supposed to debut this summer, and I'm guessing it's the racing queen one

As a Frootfag, no I can definitely say her popularity in the thread increased, mainly for the lack of streams that we now exchanged for banger projects. I wouldn't say she was popular, but she was well liked, despite every conversation of her we needed to avoid getting rocks thrown at us to this day...
I'll say that Froot and Hime are two talents that people have slept on due to memes, games and other stuff (also in the general audience), but they are pretty good and they deserve more opportunities.
