So after listening to the EP a few times, I think Jigoku might be her tightest project yet. 22 minutes of pure kino, albeit the One Piece song is out of place but w/e I guess management didn't want it to be a single for some reason. You're Not Special didn't knock my socks off but it's followed by L4DL which is, like, a study in lessons learned as an artist.

Y'know I'm rewatching that Mera Mera clip that just got posted and I'm thinking. I remember Mori talked about experiences she's had in the past that were essentially that Henry Rollins bit about opening for Iron Maiden- "Everyone is here to see one band. You are not in that band. No, Mori in-lore is actually very opposed to necromancy, that's kinda messing with her work, right? Her chuubanite wouldn't interfere with the proper process of life ending. However, Mori chuubanite does have pain-negating properties, I could see a huge dose acting as mega adrenalin and letting a soldier keep functioning for some time even with a gaping hole in his chest. Helps that Deadbeats bleed slower due to their more viscous blood.
