kek, just realized a video I posted about 10 years ago went viral (again), I got some 1k subscribers and some features in my Youtube dashboard got unlocked.
Youtube gives a MEGA DETAILED rundown on the videos and the channel as a whole, with one of the most interesting being
> how many **impressions** the video got
Not views, impressions, how many times the thumbnail passed in front of people, be it on desktop, mobile or smart TV.

I can understand why the girls don't look at their analytics, the desire to game it and try to force things to go viral is too powerful
