Oh. That makes sense. It does take some of the wonder out of things if true. It certainly seems to give similar results when using the bunny face and pink heart emojis vs their CLDR names.

HOWEVER, I have found a test case for which this is not true.

If I generate a batch of 16 images with a prompt including the eggplant emoji, I get this:

Note that there's a lot of nsfw images and relatively few eggplants.

However, if I generate a batch of images with the same settings and seed, and only changing the eggplant emoji in the prompt for it's CLDR name "eggplant" I get entirely different results.

Look at how many eggplants there are, and how none of them contain explicit nudity like with the emoji prompt.
