Since we always talk about CCV here, here you have two linear regressions asking the simple question, can you explain an increase in overall VOD views based on how high the average CCV was for a stream.

Long story short, not really. There aren't that many outliers to fuck with the data (both ways), and even looking before the whole botting crap, an increase in average CCV only explains about 45% of the increase in VOD views. Even if you account for time and people coming to watch old VODs, it should be a lot higher.

To noone's surprise, botting really fucks with the data, lowering the usability of average CCV even more and explaining only about 36% of the increase in VOD views.
