Kinda, the game has enough to players to (barely) stay alive.
There are still 5k daily players on the Steam version, assuming it's the same for Origin there's probably around 10k players in total.
It's doing slightly better with each patches and seasons (it fell below 2k once on Steam) but nothing great.
Especially since the previous entries of the games are doing better than 2042.
