Most people are genuinely fucking retarded, it's why you need direct links in things to get people to follow you.

If it takes them 2 clicks to reach your Twitch/YT page, you've lost like 30% of potential people there.
If it takes 3 clicks, you've already lost 50% of potential people.

Remember - keep it simple, stupid!

When I search youtube for "vtuber" and filter by live, Koopa is the first english channel that appears, surrounded by mostly japanese and maybe some russian ones, so that's good. However, when I search for "envtuber", she doesn't show up at all. I'm guessing that's because it's a dead tag used mostly by <10 viewer channels, but I still wonder whether including a tag used specifically to search for english speaking vtubers might be a good idea. Then again, she does show up for "english vtuber", but I'm not sure how many people search for that as opposed to the shorter tag.

On another note, she is currently the english vtuber on youtube with the most views live right now. That may be because most others are on twitch now, but I choose to believe it's because turtle mama is making it.

CEO is powerful. You can promote and advertise a chuuba or have them raided for a short burst of viewers for a stream or two, but the very next they time they go live they might go back to their usual numbers, or gradually decline or stagnate. Nina is able to keep her new viewers, so she never stops growing.

/home/ has you covered. We've pushed a couple of our chuubas to the top a few times. It really doesn't take much as the vtuber subreddit is mostly lurkers and very few posters. Though I have heard they're a little prejudiced against twitch as opposed to youtube streamers. Will need a little experimentation and testing the waters, we've only promoted youtube streamers so far such as Rose, Nekoreen, Koopa, and Veleck.

Other places are good too. A top post on reddit translates to about 100 subs, which is nice for a small chuuba but not terribly big on its own. How this translates to twitch followers remains to be seen. She's already plenty active on twitter and twitch herself and has good networking skills, hence her steady growth. This place is nice, but not very reliable. Getting her name to spread to outsiders would be ideal.

That'll do. At /home/ we found that it doesn't take much to push posts to the front page, but they result in a good amount of subs when they get there. Thanks, fren.

Difficult to answer. Bottom line is: it's easy to replicate. All it takes is a small handful of upvotes and comments within the first few hours of the post being made to get it within the first top five and let the lurkers who don't sort by new do the rest. I've seen this happen with Rose, motivated it for Veleck, and replicated it again for Kumquat. Basically, this result was intended and resulted in additional exposure. We're observing this method at /home/, so if you can, please try not to do anything reckless. We're already on it.

I should have expected this.
