If you want to know why, it's indirectly because of funds. If you look at past adjustments, their averages are almost always negative compared to closing prices. The reason why is because the actual numbers of the adjustment normally would trend towards a value much lower than the current market price, but due to money spawned out of nowhere from dividends and trading the players always massively pumped the market up during the day, even on ridiculously overpriced coins ($HOLO, anyone?).
Well, right now, funds trade at 1/20th of the volatility and handle a lot of liquid that rich players would normally use to buy coins above average price, chasing ROI% on dividends. This grinds the pump to a halt, and so the adjustments slowly "correct" the market to the values the adjustment formula trends towards for specific parameters like views, subs, etc.

At least, that's how I see it. I might be very wrong, since I haven't checked the data on this, but it's what would make immediate sense to me.

Ok so the last three days I've seen like at least one of these threads a day, sometimes two. So I'd like to say something.
Fellow Deadbeats, even tho I appreciate your love and dedication towards our oshi I can't but feel like you are really wasting your time and efforts triying to defend her and making /vt/ to stop hating her. Not just because that's not gonna happen, but specially because she doesn't give a fliying fuck about them anymore. Nor does on twitter.
Remember that interview she had with Mousey, where she said she used to read all the hate comments and be upset about it, but not anymore.
So guys, please, as I said, as endearing as it is you don't really need to do this alright? I understand seeing this much hate towards her can feel disheartening but we juast can't do anything about it, and as I said we don't really have to either

Yes, low pH should denature enzymes, and even then alcohol dehydrogenase and a lot of cytochromes that could mess up the process are alkaliphilic, meaning that they'd be inactive in that environment. You could additionally add something to speed up the process and change the environment - pineapple juice or mulch comes to my mind quickly, since it possesses both acidity and acidophilic proteases that'd break down proteins which is for example why you sometimes get recommended a citrus/pineapple marinade for meats to tenderize them.

This is what I had assumed for several months now, it is subtle and you can reasonably see it affecting the whole market over time (it's hard to spot on individual coins), although the devs have been known to stealth-tweak the market parameters so I wouldn't take this for granted. Do you think there is a way to reasonably sift the data for evidence of it?
