Polka and Anon's relationship thrives a little on the fennec pushing anon to do things he normally wouldn't, which ends up helping him grow for the better. She herself also finds stability in how he will do his best to rectify any situation that blows up in his face (which is often), so she feels enabled to take those kinds of risks with him and wear a big goofy smile while doing it.

Might be too soon to say one way or the other. I'm only going to make the first dive into how this harem will work in practice soon, and it's a challenging subject to work out correctly. I have a feeling it'll play out like it's supposed to though.

First off, thanks for the read and feedback!
I placed the reasoning where I did since she would feel no need to justify herself off the bat. Only when driven to utter frustration did she decide to actually reveal the reasoning. I could see where I could have done it another way where she reveals her reasoning in an attempt to get the group to not trust or help Pomu, but I feel like I already drove the point too far home that no one is gonna turn their back on the silly fae. As for protection speeches, I'll definitely note that I should tone those down a bit, I think it ended up getting so prevalent since I keep thinking about how this arc is one of the first I've written where the enemies have pure murderous intent. I'll definitely try to tone it down a little going forward and be more mindful when I'm hamming it up too much.
I plan to post a little teaser when I post the next chapter to hint at where the story will go next. Botan is also planned to show up at some point. I need her around to start the Lamy arc anyway.
Hag sexual exploration is going to happen and the location of the next setting is a favorite of mine for those types of firsts. As for who are swapping V-cards first, you'll just have to wait and see.
