i wrote a script, making a soundpost is as simple as
spd <youtube-link> <start> <dur> # to download a chunk of the video
spt <start> <dur> # to trim to the desired portion, shows a quickly encoded preview
spc <dimensions> # to cut out the part of the clip I want (usually right fourth and bottom half for just the chuuba), shows a quickly encoded preview
spfu # to do the high quality encode, separate into video and audio, upload the audio to several hosts, and rename the video file with the soundpost urls
