I love Sonny, and I love all the little details about him too. I always talk about his sense of humour and the way he plays games, yes, but I mean the minutiae; the way he has different shirts for different indoor activities, the way he sings to himself in the shower and car and when he's waiting for things to load, the slight rumble his voice has when he's tired or angry, and the fact he only gets angry at the more childish games. I love when he laughs so hard that his head tips back and he stops even making noises, how unashamed he is nowadays about wanting and enjoying simple and friendly affections, how even a small comment will launch him into an excited tangent about something he loves, how he'll watch something over and over until he knows every line, how his "hmm?" pitches up or down depending on what kind of thing he's pondering... I could go on for a lot longer, but then this post would be very long! I really do love my husband!!
