While dividends have been long assumed to be the definitive source of inflation, metrics seem to indicate that this isn't directly the case, at least on the surface level. While most stocks increased in both value and shares held, the overall value of those stocks has not increased enough to raise the mean. People are still dumping coins that go down and the values of those coins are going down enough to offset the buy-ins from dividends.
This may be mostly because people simply can't get their liquid out of their wallet (since the numbers we have access to either only show assets value or Liquid+assets), which means the inflation has already happened, but we can't feel it yet.

Alright, so what's this all mean? Metrics would indicate on the surface that inflation is slowing, even if only slightly. There is less value in coins overall, however there are also more coins in circulation, and a lot of the valuation is focused in very specific coins. So what's that mean? Well, I'm not an economic genius, I'm just a numbersfag with a spreadsheet, but if I had to guess, I'd say it's likely that the higher-ups are holding a lot more liquid than they were before, which is putting a buffer on the rampant crazy inflation going on in the lower tax brackets. Dividends get beefier and beefier every week because people can get more and more coins, so more liquid comes into the system. But you can really only spend so much liquid a day, so higher-bracket players are moving less and less of their total liquid, but still earning money, so the cash piles up faster than they can spend it.
That's my take anyway. Feel free to tell me I'm a fucking moron or a secret genius. Or a secret moron. Or a fucking genius.
