Why not do it in the form of a greentext / post simulator fic? The chuubas themselves make posts of their current recommendations, and if it was made with gdocs, it could include a link in the title to the fic landing page in the archive.

Hey sometimes you just gotta roll with how the story goes as you write it. If I had a dollar every time something just started happening that I didn't plan for but just just fit considering the prior scenes, I could probably almost commission some art or something.

I think if you want to give a little more info that you would want the reader to know going into the story, that would be fine. As for what should be added, I don't know what I don't know in this case. Perhaps possibly physical limitations / expected side effects of being a Source? Like what would you tell an anon fresh out of an ice tray that he needs to know about his new job?
