4 is the middle child between 3 and 5. Its blatantly rushed but had a few interesting ideas and was decent in retrospect. The highlights seem to be Gura learning more about the characters she loves in 5 and eventually getting to see the meme Dante she fell in love with. The Dante levels were arguably the worst in DMC series; back tracking through levels instead of having his own unique hell levels and with less weapons than planned. But boy did Langdon and Studio 4 put the ham into Dante this game, more ham than a pig farm.
