You can never really understand it because everyone involved is an idiot. The whole drama is literally an idiot plot, aka, a plot that can only occur because every character in it is an idiot. The whole mess was chiefly caused by miscommunication because no one in this idiot plot is capable of talking to the other before kicking off an emotional twitter rampage. All of this has been unbelievably stupid in the grand scheme of things and I hope everyone involved can just shut the fuck up about it and move on even if their fans don't.
