Coco was the first one to teach this lesson, but this just drives it home: corpo streamers, maintain your PL / RM / alt account. Have as much kayfabe as you like on every other aspect of your career, but don't fall for the "secret knowledge none must know" meme. Keep it up to date, have some minor activity on it now and then if you're allowed, ensure that your fanbase has general low-level awareness that links back to a persona that *you* control. Maybe you'll never need it, but if you do, they can only take your accomplishments away if you let them.
