AI generated stuff is really good nowadays.
The only reason to commission someone generally is if you're doing something client-facing with it and you don't want people to judge you. Like yeah you can use an AI generated live2d (https://booth.pm/en/items/4690141 was generated with AI) but people will judge and shit on you for it and you'll get immediate antis.
It's also good to commission if you're doing it for a streamer you like since they'll appreciate it a lot more.
