I dunno but in my experience for the past years, all I do is:
>click tweet containing images
>click the image to go semi-full screen
>right click to either save file or open image in new tab
>you get the original sized image
So I went to bluesky website and look for the image, and I did just that, and it seems like they also do the same as twitter. So I think you'll get full screen as long as you follow what I do above.
